My Nephew Justin

Justin received the baptism of the Holy Spirit this year and what God is doing in him is amazing. We have seen such growth in his life in such a short time. He’s the first to volunteer to pray, always has comments after a lesson and get this, he actually practices the Word he hears. We had a Sunday school lesson on how you spend your time. I gave the kids Monopoly money in an envelope. Everybody had the same amount. And we had items on display that represented how they spent their time. Playing video games was $250/hr, Internet/Myspace etc. $200. And you had to buy with your money the amount of time you spend on these things each day. When they had all spent their...

What a wonderful family

Yesterday, we took some quick snapshots of our Zion family to put in a memory book that we’ll pass out next Sunday so I thought I’d share them. Our newest member, our official church greeter and usher, my best-est friend Michica says she thoroughly enjoys herself although she’s not real thrilled with the idea of the ministry growing. It served as a reminder that the thing God has spoken will and is coming to pass and also a warning to guard my heart. I have to remain humble, teachable and forever sensitive to the Holy Spirit. If I want to remain a vessel of honor fit for His use, I must remain clay in His hands. If the presence of the Lord is to continue to show up in my life and in Zion, it calls for brokeness at all times. It reads… How can my abilities and even my successes be a danger?Dueteronomy 8:11-14 “But that is...

Now it’s ready

Posted by on Jul 27, 2007 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

My new neighbor, like clock work sent me a photo of our home to show the progress they’ve made. And man have they made some progress! Now it seems they are ready to pour concrete. Here’s the thing, it’s started to rain off and on and is supposed to continue all weekend. From what I understand…if they get a break…a small window of opportunity, they can pour the concrete, it will set fairly quickly and rain is no longer an issue. We will more than likely go out again this weekend to see for ourselves. I’m excited. (As if you didn’t know…LOL!) Did you like this? Share...
