We’ve got our meeting with the KB construction supervisor Tuesday!
WOOHOO!
This is really happening!
We’ll finally get a timeline on the building of our home. Right now everyone has been guessing but we actually get to talk to the guy who will oversee the construction.
I know production has been pushed back because of all the rain! We may have had 10 dry days over the past two months! They have not been able to pour the foundation for any of the homes because of this!
Somehow, I know this delay works in our favor.
We have a new hurdle to cross in regards to just where the kids will go to school in August. The new school district isn’t as flexible as others to transitioning families. We will get through this too!
We’re packing up our current home and have lots of stuff in storage now. The house looks so empty…nothing like the place we called home for the past eight years. When everyone went to bed I sat on the sofa in the living room, looked around and thanked God for all we had been through together in this house.
How God healed Evan, how we overcame some real tough financial situations, how we’ve prayed, how we’ve loved in this house. I was just really grateful for all the time we’ve spent there.
If I could dig up my trees and take them with us I WOULD! But we’ll leave those for our tenants!
There are still some uncertainties and things out of my control right now, but the Jesus I danced with last Sunday holds me close and I’m secure in Hims arms.
It’s all good.
