Today my stress levels were slightly elevated and I felt the old me rising up. This feeling of “so what” arose and I am happy to say that I overcame them.
I still washed the morning dishes so the sink is empty.
I still wiped down the counters before I left for work.
I still gathered my workout clothes for my afternoon walk.
I still ate sensibly and didn’t throw good sense out of the window just because I was stressing.
These things are my new routines. Not letting stress throw those things out of whack is my commitment to myself.
