That’s when we get to leave work today! I’m done. I’ve finished all my projects. All my files have been turned over to the poor souls that have take on my job responsibilities in addition to their own. My last day is Wednesday and I’ll leave as soon as they give me my last pay check and then I’m off for two days. I’ll start my new job a week from today. I’m looking forward to spending time with the kids! Hubby and I will have tomorrow together before he heads back to work. I had breakfast with a beautiful pastor and really enjoyed the fellowship. We talked about not being intimidated in ministry and really embracing your own...

What a way to end our stay at the library! The word was awesome! His presence was undeniable. God is so faithful to us! It’s like God took us to a whole new level! I’m really looking forward to the Watch Service at the Remnant tomorrow. Our plans to be in Louisiana never gelled so we’ll spend New Year’s Eve worshipping with them. We always and I do mean always have a wonderful time whenever we fellowship with Pastor Larry and Pastor Ty. This is my favorite time of year…watching the old year old and the New Year in with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We rejoice cause we know what it took to get here…the last day of the...

Everything is so unfamiliar…well except for Wal-Mart and HEB in our new neighborhood. I’m...

One downside to the move is finding a new nail salon. I don’t want to drive an hour to get my nails done! So needless to say I’m not real happy with my new set. I got the solar nails since I had them before and liked them. It’s a permanent french manicure using special pink and white powders. No nail polish needed. After they apply the powder, shape and buff your nails, they apply a cream, buff it one last time and you have the perfect french manicure. The tech that did my nails started the white powdered tip too low on some of the nails. I see it’s going to take some trial and error before I find a salon near our home to my liking. Until then,...

Sis. Wilena had a beautiful baby boy — Darius — yesterday! She delivered not far from my 9-to-5 so I went to go see them both! He’s much more interested in sleeping right now than learning how to nurse or socialize. I assured her he’d be making demands as soon as they got home. LOL! Welcome Darius! Did you like this?
