We had an awesome time in our first women’s Bible study class! We all have a new insight on the life of Rahab. The title was “I may be a whore but I’m not stupid.” We found out that Rahab negotiated and secured the future of her and her family. She heard the same word all of Jericho heard but it sparked faith and not fear in her. She acted on her faith and is listed in the Heroes of Faith because of her actions.

Her faith propelled her to greatness she could not have imagined for herself.

And the faith of this ex-whore placed her in the lineage of Jesus Christ! And the majority of single women in Christendom are feigning for her son Boaz! That’s right…Rahab was the mother of Boaz!

Everyone is looking forward to our next gathering in June. Next time we’ll deal with Love Triangles Gone Bad – a look at Jacob, Rachel and her sister Leah.
