What a day…what a weekend for that fact!
OMG, when we got home Mac the Beagle was sitting out in front of the house. We’re all wondering how did he get out? He’d been sitting out there since early afternoon and we just got back home! Plus it rained complete with a light show and LOUD thunder. I had to dry him off real good cause he was seriously soaked. Poor puppy! And Genine surprised us today and came with her friend Sabrina! Our morning bible study was phenomenal! We talked about Love Triangles Gone Bad Part 1 – Abraham, Sarah and Hagar. Good stuff Maynard! LOL! Next month we’ll have a part two and deal with Jacob, Rachel and her sister Leah. This is one of our teenagers’ favorite Bible saga! Oh you should really hear her act out the characters in modern day vernacular…it’s hilarious! All the pre-dawn research and writing paid off. It came together beautifully. Hubby went with us and recorded it. I may be able to upload it! We have ROP tonight and I’m looking forward to it. Gotta remember to make a sign and post it on their event wall. It seems that I have gotten water trapped in my ear again because it was in so much pain yesterday it brought me to tears. Thankfully at the first sign of it two days ago I started taking the ear drops they gave me a few months ago. I feel much better early this a.m. Thanks God. I have to teach a Bible study later on this a.m. and the thought did cross my mind of canceling but I quickly dismissed. My guess is that we’re going to have a good time today. Did you like this? I feel OK to day after an afternoon of rollerskating! My ankles are the only thing that feel different. I wouldn’t even call it pain. The skates I rented weren’t the ones that support the ankle and needless to say they aren’t used to that kind of activity. I still had fun. And would do it all over again tomorrow if I could! We went to a Bible study last night and our teenager was blessed by it all. Apparently she really needed to hear it…again. Sometimes your kids need to hear somebody other than you say a thing. Four wheels under my feet feel as natural as walking. I love skating. I just don’t remember needing so many breaks in between rotations! I got all the information I needed on renting the place out completely for my party and I can bring my own Cd’s for the evening. This is going to be so much fun. So if you’re going to be in Houston August 29, you gotta stop by! And it was so good to see my nephew and nieces again. My nephew asked when we could get together again and I told him anytime.
