My baby celebrated a birthday this week! He’s getting so big and so handsome. We’re having the official party tonight and have invited some of friends to help him come celebrate. He’s really looking forward to it.

I landed a new client this week too. I need to get my proposal together and submit and we’ll negotiate a deal. I’m excited!

Our Rite of Passage class starts this Saturday and I know it will bless everybody that participated. We have more online than onsite students and I gather part of that has to do with the high price of gas. People are really looking to conserve. Here in Houston, the Vanpool service has increased by some huge percentage because people are trying to save gas and money. It took near $4/gallon gas to do it but Houstonians are actually leaving their cars and carpooling.

It really seemed like a ill-thought out move to rip up all the old railroad tracks and build concrete highways. We really need better public transportation here in my fair city. The train people need to lobby a lot harder.

Just some random thoughts tonight. God has been very good to me and I love and appreciate him so much.
