Accomplished

I am feeling very accomplished!

I got so much done this week! And it feels wonderful to return to some normalcy after Nana’s passing.

I cleaned my office, hung a picture that’s been rolled up in my closet. It’s now proudly displayed over my desk. I actually want to work in my office now instead of the kitchen table! I washed my car (this was at the Holy Spirit’s prompting I’m ashamed to say) and I hung up Christmas decorations. I can hear the gasps! LOL!

Yes we hung lights on the starter oak tree in the front yard . I hung a garland and lights around the front door and two big pretty red bows. Elgin was in search of red and green light bulbs to put on the outdoor porch lamps on the garage. It looks very nice.

I even hung a garland with Christmas stockings on the island in the kitchen.

Now about hauling a tree in the house, I don’t know. But the lights and the garland are soothing. We opted for the colorful string of lights versus the all white lights. Somehow all of this is therapeutic.

God also opened up some things and my prayers have changed. And I’m seeing results.

So I’m feeling quite accomplished this week!

I would appreciate prayers for my mom and sister. Pray for my mom as she grieves Nana and my sister who lost her godmother and Nana within months of each other. I love my sister so much and I wish I could do more for her. I wish I could make some stuff just go away. I wish I could take away her hurt. I wish I could wipe away her disappointments. I can’t. But I know someone who can and will. I pray she turns to Him and allows Him to do for her what I can’t. My heart aches for her. Please remember Jessica in your prayers. Call her name to the Father.

Well, I didn’t get home till after two this morning (Demon Crusher monthly meeting) and my pillow is calling me.
