He loves me

I was really tired today. Weary in mind and body and just wanted to rest.

I prayed a simple prayer. I told the Lord I just wanted to find peace, I wanted to find comfort in his presence. I just wanted to be alone with him. I wanted to breathe.

Soon after Elgin called me to him and he massaged my neck and back. Completely unsolicited and no words were spoken. I exhaled and allowed myself to relax. Every time my mind would start its mad dash I kept reminding myself to be in the present and to simply enjoy.

I then realized what had just happened. Jesus through my husband had just answered my prayer.

He loves me. My husband loves me.

I am a blessed woman tonight.
