I know I have said it before but it is worth repeating, I absolutely love God-connections. People whom God places in your life and they add to you and you to them. Yesterday I was talking to a beautiful woman of God and she sparked a new strategy for my business. To say I am excited is an understatement. A few years ago, the Prayer of Jabez was the sure-fire way to get into God’s wallet and unlock the blessings of God. Last week at a leadership conference, the speaker made mention of this and she pointed out that Jabez was simply praying that God undo the damage his mother did by naming him what is equivalent to pain and heartache. And God obliged. So I was led to look up my name and here is what I found. Lisa means Consecrated to God. Nichelle means Victorious Maiden. This photo leaves me breathless… Lindsey and Jonathon did such a phenomenal job this morning. Today’s chapel service did exactly what God intended. The Gospel message was shared in a way that was relevant to the hearer and they received. Some were offended by the Gospel which is a good thing too. A couple of young ladies ran out immediately when we were done. But the young men stayed. The coordinator asked for prayer and lives were impacted with God’s word. Some even rededicated their lives. All I know is seed was sown. Someone else will come along and water and God will give the increase. It was simply awesome. God is awesome. I love Kingdom business....

My beloved celebrated his tenth anniversary on the job this year and we attended an awards ceremony a few months ago. He was given a gift catalog to select his anniversary gift and he chose a telescope. It finally came! It’s beautiful and we can’t wait to do some star gazing. It’s really neat. Included with the scope is a device to enter your zip code, GPS, time and timezone and it will tell you what’s viewable in the night sky in your area. Way cool! This telescope is much bigger than the one Mr. NFL got for Christmas last year. When we went to the observatory, one telescope was focused on one object. We understand why now. It’s difficult...

That you can’t take church folk anywhere! LOL! Elgin and I went to good friend Pastor Ty’s 40th birthday celebration and it was such an elegant occasion. Pink and white candles, flowers, flowing fabric streamers from the high ceiling down to the floor. Absolutely beautiful. But then something strange happens when you get a bunch of people in the room who are crazy in love with Jesus…a move of God breaks out! So in all of our finery last night, a worship service broke out! There was dancing, there were tears, and there was even a word of encouragement which I sorely needed!
