It all came flooding back

These memories are like old friends.

They flooded my mind as I walked around campus today.

I’m recalling the things I was so passionate about 20 years ago.

I loved reading and especially writing.

I knew I would write one day; books, essays, fiction, poetry.

Creative writing was my favorite class and Mr. Knight was my favorite teacher back at St. Mary’s Academy! (Red ties rule!)

And I knew I loved academia. So here I am 20 years later pursuing those things and I’m so excited.

God is so awesome.
