Sunday eve

Today was our outreach event and we had a great time even in the cold. We prayed with some people and shared the love of Jesus. Tomorrow we have a small reception planned after church to meet and greet visitors. I love Sunday’s.

I’ve noticed that feelings of inadequacy, feelings of discontentment, feelings of worthlessness are contagious. I had the opportunity to observe and marveled at what I saw. You hang around people who are unsatisfied and believe that life overall sucks; that mindset transfers! Next thing you know, you’re sending out invitations for your own pity party. Then the barrage of thoughts that say, you’re not good enough, not pretty enough, not rich enough, you’re relationship isn’t good enough bombard your mind.

Prayer, worship, rehearsing the Word of God are mighty weapons for pulling down these strongholds that come against our minds.

The thing that truly amazed me was how quickly these spirits can transfer. We can’t be ignorant of the enemy’s devices and man it’s another reason to stay prayed up, alert and control folk who come into your personal space.
