Thankful Thursday

It’s common knowledge among believers that you don’t go through (church speak for endure trials, tribulations, persecutions) solely for yourself. That’s so not like our God. He is resourceful in every way. When you go through something and God delivers then that deliverance will bless someone else. Let’s say you lost a baby due to miscarriage and you experience that pain and God heals your heart. You can now share with another woman who is experiencing that same hurt and assure her that God is faithful to heal. So today I’m thankful for having went through, came out and then able to turn around and help someone else because I had just encountered the same thing!

I’m thankful for my life. It’s busier than usual now that I’m back to work outside the home and that’s just part time! I’m thankful for a clear mind! No more chaos; my mind is free to concentrate on what I’m called to do. I’m thankful for peace…remember peace is a choice.

There’s another word you hear frequently in church and that’s the word shift. As overused as it may be it is true of what is happening in my beloved and I and for the ministry. Last night’s Bible study was phenomenal. God moves on a Wednesday night. We’re teaching on faith; what it looks like, how it acts, what it is not, and how it operates in the life of the believer. Good stuff.

I’m surveying it all and I see great things. We’re moving closer to an answer in prayer and the closer we get to it; we realize it’s not exactly what we thought it would be. It’s wonderful, yes but just nothing like we thought. From my vantage point it’s exactly what we’ve been looking for just not the package we were expecting. But at its core from what I can discern right now is a perfect match. Will keep walking and watch it all unfold.

Well, there’s lots to do today. Time to get it all started.

Much love everyone.
