Really?

This is a weird place to be in. I have time on my hands. And I am at a lost as to what to do first…LOL! Yesterday I thought I would make like a storm trouper through the house; that didn’t happen. What did I do? I laid on my sofa and watched Say Yes To The Dress and What Not To Wear. Part of me felt guilty but I quickly told that voice to SHUT UP and proceeded with a quick nap. So there are lots of back burnered projects that need my attention; time to take a look at those and housework just never goes away. Elgin’s birthday, prom and TWO graduations are coming up FAST. I’m SO glad I don’t have to deal with all of this and have schoolwork on...

This is Mac the beagle’s handiwork. That’s a package of Thomas’ English Muffins completely devoured – this is all that’s left. I guess it’s my fault for leaving the pantry door open. So yes the tales about the Mac the beagle are real. He’s eaten entire packages of hot dog buns, loaves of bread, hamburger buns – and if he finds something he doesn’t like he’s kind of enough to tear it open, take a few sniffs and leave the mess for me to clean up. And he’s not even my dog. On another note, I finished my last class at University of Phoenix last night. I completed all my assignments, gave a great presentation...

Mr. NFL and I dropped Miss Lindsey off at school this morning and made a quick stop at the grocery store. There are lots of things swirling around my head these days (this is nothing new…) and I have lots of things on the altar when Holy Spirit simply said, “Cheer up.” I’ve been going through the book of Mark on the Bible Experience and knew exactly what Spirit was referencing. Mark 10:46-52 they reached Jericho, and as Jesus and his disciples left town, a large crowd followed him. A blind beggar named Bartimaeus (son of Timaeus) was sitting beside the road. Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son...

My Momma

First, our teenager and nephew spent the weekend at a youth encounter camp and they came back changed and inspired. God truly answers prayer. They both needed this encounter and God was faithful to meet them there. Thanks to all my prayer warriors who had my back on this one! Now that they’re home the fight begins; the fight to continue and resist the lies that will certainly say, nothing happened, you’re the same, and so on and so on and so on… Healing is a beautiful thing. Deliverance is downright awesome! I know I’ve mentioned that my mom stays with us. We combined households shortly after Nana Brown’s passing. It’s been a year and...

That the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous cannot do. Tonight we have prayer at the church and there’s a growing list of request just this week. People are asking for prayer and we are honored to pray on the behalf of others. We know God is faithful to hear, to answer, and to move. Tonight we’re carrying friends, family, ministerial colleagues, enemies, public officials, those who are lost, sick, confused, hurt, angry, bitter, those who are in need of deliverance, those who hide behind masks, those who have been abused, we’re carrying them all to the altar tonight. There’s work to be done. Intercessors and those seeking a touch from Him,...
