Choose Wisely

I posted on FB that I’m really at a lost for words on how to describe what is going on in ZTCC. The prayer, the worship service Sunday…all I can say is that God moves, He speaks and prayers are being answered.

I’m also grieved a bit this morning because we’re watching the word of the Lord play out for someone who made a wrong choice. They ignored the word of the Lord – they actually did part but not all which is still disobedience.

Deut. 30:15-16 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

There’s another scripture that speaks of God giving warning before destruction. I’m really praying and crying out for this person.

“I have set before thee this day life and good, death and evil…”

It breaks my heart that they have chosen to do this the hard way.

People, status, boyfriends, girlfriends, spouses, money, fame, notoriety, everybody screaming your name, acceptance, phenomenal illicit sex; it’s just not worth it. Nothing is worth being out of step with His plan for your life. Nothing is worth your eternal soul. I beg you to choose the good and the life He has set before you. Do what He asks of you. The benefits are LIFE LONG and will save you much heartache and many tears.

I’m crying out that they repent…they still have this woe is me kind of thinking and don’t see that their current dilemma is the fruit of their own disobedience. It didn’t have to be this way. I’m praying that if this journey through the wilderness can be cut short by true repentance sooner rather than later that Holy Spirit truly convict their heart and they do so.

When I say it’s all falling apart around them…it’s falling apart and there’s nothing I can do other than pray.

Again, it didn’t have to be this way. They could be enjoying the good of the land.

“I have set before thee this day life and good, death and evil…”

Choose wisely today.
