I love a good story and some blog posts read like mini novellas.
I love reading the posts on the3six5. The ingenious project by Len Kendall and Daniel Honigman is a story each day from different people thus the name the three-six-five.
Each writer is given a day and they simply tell a story about that particular day in their life.
I am completely engrossed.
The writers on the3six5 are very good.
I am transported to wherever they are through their words and photos.
And sometimes, I need an escape. Some days there is way too much going on in my world and I can’t simply pack up and head for the hills. So reading about other people’s lives help me get away; just for a moment or so. I read about an exchange student’s time in Ecuador where he described feelings of being homesick, seeing such great poverty, and then such beauty. It was as though I was right there, taking in all the sights and sounds too.
Good writers have that ability.
Now back to reality and the pile of laundry calling my name.
