It’s another Makeup Monday!

I thought I was being a Proverbs 31 woman. I thought, purchasing my favorite makeup from eBay was saving me a bundle. Imagine my horror when I discovered it was all a lie.

After years of trying to find the right foundation, I finally found my magic elixir in a MAC Studio Fix numbered NW45. Well at 26 bucks it’s not exactly cheap BUT it well worth the money.

We were avid eBay shoppers and I discovered that I could bid on my beloved NW45 for a little less money. Some cosmetic sellers will start bids as low as 99 cents and if you are diligent you can catch great deals. I always bought brand new in the box items and I did save. It’s eBay’s Buy It Now option that often costs more than what the manufacturer charges. When I was looking for a product from Urban Decay, I discovered the product was cheaper from the manufacturer. I was livid! Then I started researching some of my other favorite products on the actual company site and found they were less expensive than the Buy It Now feature on eBay and the manufacturer offered free shipping!

You can save yourself time, money and gas by buying your favorite products online directly from the manufacturer. If you’re going to give eBay a try, always compare the Buy It Now price with the actual manufacturer price to see if you’re getting the best deal.
