On the cool

Today, I had no intention of going into that store. I was on a mission for one thing, and one thing only. But something led me there.

And way from the back I hear, “Hi, how are you?”

It’s my favorite sales rep.

We embrace.

She tells me what’s on sale and I do some browsing.

We chat for awhile…I ask about her kids and that’s when it all started.

I listened and since she’d thrown the “G” word around a couple of times I asked her where she worshiped.

I told her I knew she was at work but felt led to prayer for her right then and right there.

I prayed for my favorite rep on the cool.

I didn’t need her to get fired.

No need to break out a bottle of oil, shut my eyes and call fire down.

We prayed quietly while she worked and Holy Spirit was very present.

She thanked me and I ended up buying something anyway. (It was on sale boo, I promise!)

And it’s powerful.
