Ready, Not Ready
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 1 Cor. 13:11 Maturity happens over time. Even if you were labeled mature for your age, there is still a process for releasing child-like thoughts and leaving childish ways behind. Kind of like the cheese in this Cheez-It’s commercial. Someone oversees and observes the process and at the right time they will check the ready box. The good thing is you’ll know and your observer will know when that maturity/growth has occurred. Today I am thankful for, Cooler temps. The weatherman promises low humidity and something that feels more like Fall. Feeling better. The scale moving in the opposite direction. Clean carpet! Random Thought #1Today was my first day of class! I turned in my project and have met some cool people. I’m glad I made the switch and am looking forward to having my degree finished. Today, I have the extreme pleasure of “jus chillin.” Taking care of me and today for the first time in a long time; I slept in. Let me define sleeping in. Waking up at three because I went to bed early; chatted with hubby because he was up too. We went outside to verify that the Google Sky app on our new phones worked; it did. Went back to sleep; woke up at five to let Mac the beagle in. Went back to sleep and woke up at eight. This is how I sleep in and I am appreciative!
