Avails Much
Since Easter of this year, ZTCC has been meeting each week for prayer. Times and dates shifted at Holy Spirit’s promptings but always effectually and fervently and man, what an incredible movement. Today was our last FIVE AM FIRE prayer service and prayer moves back to Friday nights twice a month. Intercession has taught us so much. As a ministry we were reminded that God is global. The Kingdom of God is far reaching and that we have to lift our heads and prayer corporately…we prayed Kingdom-wide. We prayed for believers in nations hostile to Christianity. We prayed for the Body of Christ as a whole. Yes there were prayers for immediate needs right among us...

Tonight we have guests for dinner and I’m preparing one of our favorite Mexican meals. Homemade tortilla chips and salsa to start. (I am spoiled when it comes to tortilla chips…only want them straight out the deep fryer now!) And if I’m not careful…this will be the only thing I enjoy. We’re also having chicken and steak fajitas. It’s been a long week for my beloved and I’m hoping I can encourage him to prepare this on the outside grill. Looking forward to breaking bread (tortilla chips in this case) on tonight! Mac the Beagle 1999-2011 Mac’s been gone for almost six months now and there’s been talk about adding another four-legged baby to our home. And a big dog this time…a Labrador. It doesn’t sound serious yet. I don’t know. I was on Craigslist the other day and somebody was giving away a lab and I think my beloved was considering. With Mac gone there’s no one to raid the pantry and take off with loaves of bread. I do miss him. But not sure I’m ready for another one yet. Puppies are a responsibility and my hands are full.
