1-1/2 hour ride and three transfers later

Our daughter is still adjusting to life in Austin. That means heavy use of public transportation if she wants to leave campus. No big deal. Austin has a great system.

Getting to church on Sunday’s is proving to be an adventure.

The church right next door to the school wasn’t a good fit.

So we did some searching and found a few she’s interested in visiting.

These ministries were relatively close so we plugged the addresses in the trip planner. She’ll have to take three buses for an hour and a half trip one way. Wow. You have to really be desperate for Jesus and corporate worship to make such a trip. Now some would suggest she simply stay in her dorm and tune in to Sunday service online or flip on the TV and attend “bedside Baptist.” And in some circumstances that’s OK. But there is nothing like physically being in a room full of believers, all on one accord in full blown worship. And this is what she craves.

She said she was going to give it a try.

Where will this Sunday morning find you?

Have a great weekend everyone.
