Servant Leader

Lovingly called “Madre” by her two children; she is the proud momma of Lindsey and Evan and four-legged Labrador named Kobe. Both children have their own relationships with Jesus for which she is grateful! Lisa married her childhood sweetheart, Elgin Alexander and the two have been happily married for over 24 years.

Lisa the Minister
Lisa is a preacher’s kid who grew up in the church. She has served as church administrator, choir director and teacher throughout her years of service. Lisa and her husband Elgin served as senior pastors of  Zion Tabernacle Christian Church (ZTCC)  in Houston, Texas where they served for six years.

In 2009, she authored the book,  Marriage and Ministry and has written articles for magazines and online ministries. She and her beloved oversee Wisdom for Leaders. The two share practical truths and give an honest look at life in ministry today.

Lisa the Marketer
Known as The Marketing Stylist, Lisa shares her gift with the those inside and outside the Christian community. She has worked as an art director, graphic designer, marketing coordinator and marketing consultant throughout her 20 year career. She has coordinated successful ministry events and was responsible for all of  ZTCC’s marketing efforts. Social media marketing is her passion and continues to fine tune strategies for ministry. Lisa is currently completing her undergraduate work at Ashford University and majors in public relations and marketing.
