Today’s Woman Business Owner

The 2017 State of Women-Owned Business Report says that there are 11.6 million women businesses in the U.S. as of January 2017. You are in such good company!

We’re starting businesses, employing people in our communities, and the number of women generating a half million dollars in revenue or more has grown significantly.

We Have Choices

Not every woman that starts a business is looking to “go big.” And that’s perfectly okay. Lifestyle businesses allow greater freedom for things like extensive travel and creates the work-life balance they’ve always wanted. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Then there are those who do want to “go big.” They have their minds set on world domination and that’s okay too.

Every female entrepreneur gets to decide for herself what kind of business she wants to create.

Eight Questions

Regardless of your endgame, every female business owner should ask herself these eight questions.

  1. Has My Revenue Hit a Glass Ceiling?
  2. Am I Juggling Too Many Roles?
  3. Has My Business Changed?

  5. Is Your Sales Team Selling?
  6. Am I Missing Key Connections?
  7. How Well Is My Staff Performing?
  8. Is My Logo Still Relevant?

Answer these eight questions and you can begin to build a strategy for increased business growth and revenue.
